The Dodge Charger combines American muscle-car tradition with modern technology. The powerful six-cylinder and all-wheel drive with rear-wheel-drive mode deliver confident everyday performance and pure driving fun whenever you want it.
Two versions of the new Charger
The Charger is available in two power levels: the R/T offers powerful everyday driving fun with 426 hp, while the Scat Pack steps things up significantly with 557 hp. Both are available as 2- or 4-door models and in Plus trim.
Up to 557 hp
The heart of the Charger is the 3.0-litre SIXPACK twin-turbo inline six. In the Scat Pack (High Output) it delivers 557 hp and 720 Nm, in the R/T 426 hp and 635 Nm.
All-wheel drive with RWD mode
All-wheel drive distributes power to all four wheels for maximum grip. If you prefer the classic way, switch to pure rear-wheel drive – true to muscle-car tradition.
8-speed automatic transmission
The 8-speed TorqueFlite automatic shifts quickly and smoothly – depending on equipment, also manually via paddle shifters on the steering wheel.
Drive modes
The Auto, Eco, Sport, Wet/Snow and Valet drive modes adjust throttle response, shift points and steering. The Scat Pack adds Launch Control, Line Lock and a custom drive mode.
Suspension and steering
Depending on the version, a Touring, Sport or Performance suspension provides the right set-up – from comfortable cruising to precise turn-in. The electric power steering gives direct feedback.
New platform
The Charger is built on Stellantis’ new STLA Large platform, the basis for precise handling.
Sport brakes
Standard on the Scat Pack: Brembo brakes with 6-piston fixed calipers at the front and 380 mm discs. Available on the R/T with the Performance Handling Group.
